About Me

I am pursuing my B.S. in Computer Science with a Cyber Track at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, with an expected graduation date of December 2026. My journey in computer science has been shaped by hands-on learning — building software, supporting cybersecurity labs, assisting students, and contributing to research projects that connect theory with real systems.

Outside the lab, I have served as a teaching assistant, cybersecurity lab assistant, and student coach, and I have built full-stack applications using Django, Python, and modern web technologies. I enjoy turning ideas into working products, experimenting with AI tools, and studying how systems behave under pressure. Outside of academics and projects, I like reading books, driving, and exploring new technologies.

Research & Work interests: Full-stack software development, AI-powered applications, cybersecurity, backend engineering, edge computing, UAV telemetry, and secure distributed systems.

RAG-Based Framework for Drone Telemetry & Wireless Attack Analysis

University of North Carolina at Pembroke

Built a Django backend pipeline to collect, process, and store UAV telemetry — GPS coordinates, altitude, timestamps, and status labels — streamed over wireless networks. Running controlled experiments on how network disruptions affect data integrity and positional consistency, and exploring RAG methods for AI-assisted explanation of abnormal telemetry under attack conditions.

Security Analysis of Containerized Systems

University of North Carolina at Pembroke · To be presented at PURC Symposium 2027

Designed a controlled testbed to evaluate Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Apptainer across Intel/AMD and ARM systems, including Raspberry Pi 5. Measured the impact of DoS, privilege escalation, and remote code execution attacks on CPU usage, memory, response time, uptime, and recovery — comparing rooted vs. rootless platforms.

Neighborhood Microscope: Big Data for Health & Well-being

University of North Carolina at Pembroke · Undergraduate Research Project, PURC 2024

Contributed to an interdisciplinary project examining how built environment factors influence health, crime, and physical activity in urban and rural NC neighborhoods. Worked with geotagged social media, Google Street View imagery, crime and health data, and applied text mining, geospatial analysis, and visualization in Python. Presented at PURC 2024.
